The Beat Bank is an independent record label featuring various styles of avant-garde electronic music; working mainly in fusion styles. We value true artist development, creative content and quality productions as opposed to quantity and trend.

 

It was founded in 1995 by Lional [Brother El] Freeman as a music production and recording studio.

As success of The Beat Banks projects grew and the talent pool developed, Brother El partnered with his then manager Charles Cain and expanded the company to become a full service record label. Our growth was a response to the lack of proper business representation in Chicago Hip Hop music. Since then then our company has expanded releasing many genre's of electronic music.
